Looking at the larger currents of history, I believe WWII and the Cold War was a contest between statism verses individualism and centralized economic planning verses capitalism. I believe today's War on Terror pits the Rule of Law against Tribalism and Religious Freedom against Religious Tyranny.  From this perspective, it is easy to see why the democrats side with the terrorists and against our own country.

Today's democrats have always viewed themselves above the law. Whether it is stealing elections as in Kennedy or obstructing Justice, as in Clinton, or committing treason as in Sandy Burger, the Democratic tribe rallies around their guy and will not ever denounce them for their lawlessness. So there is an affinity, on their part, for the lawless terrorist tribes that practice the same hatred of outsiders and complete justification of acts by insiders. What else can the Fatwas be, other than an official proclamation by the tribe that no individual will be held accountable for his heinous actions. Are they any different than democrats defending Clinton's lying under oath?

Today's democrats are also part and parcel of the liberal religion of secular humanism. While they preach tolerance to everyone, they are really preaching only to the people who hold to Judeo-Christian belief systems. They tell us not to be intolerant. That it is wrong to judge the behavior of others. Meanwhile they are the most intolerant of Judeo-Christians and insist that all others be intolerant towards us. Every perverseness under the night can be extolled as examples of human freedom and goodness. While Judeo-Christian virtues of discipline, self control, sacrifice for others, and self reliance, and Charity to all are mocked. The Islamic Fascists threaten to Nuke Israel. Al Quada has a Fatwah permitting them to destroy US cities with Nukes. They demand a British girl be executed over the name of a teddy bear. They riot through Holland because of a cartoon. So hatred of the Judeo-Christian people is another point in common between democrats and the Islamic Fascists.

What the democrats, in their foolishness, don't realize is that the affinity only goes one way. They see the Islamic Fascists as allies that can be used to gain power. The Islamic Fascists see only hated westerners. Should they succeed, they will be like the boy who grabbed the tiger by the tail, to the destruction of us all.

Therefore, this election is of singular importance. Will we choose suicide or will we continue the struggle for freedom and liberty? This one only hopes there is enough leftover capital of our Judeo-Christian heritage within our nation to choose freedom and liberty.

Just as the tide of public support for the war on terror seemed to ebbing to the lowest possible levels, along comes the latest airline attack plot. Unwittingly, the liquid bomb crowd has unleashed a torrid current of support for the US war effort by separating tens of thousands of women travelers from their water bottles, gels, and creams. There are somethings that even twelfth century barbarians should know better than to mess with. It's abundently clear now to women all across America that this is a war of cosmetic proportions.   Jahannum (Islamic hell) has no fury like a burka-less women shorn of her Evian and beauty products.  The ripple effects to husbands will create backlash to the Islamic Fascists of tsunami proportions. Conservatives, riding a new wave of public support will dominate the fall election. As a nation, we will stay the course in Iraq. And Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will soon be heard to say, "I ran from American women".
